Fore began his investment industry career in 2007 and joined Stifel in 2018. His responsibilities include leading planning meetings, overseeing each team member’s roles and responsibilities, and addressing his clients’ vast wealth management needs.
A fierce and dedicated competitor, Fore combines his unique skills, life experience, careful judgment, and industry knowledge to help his clients pursue their goals with passion and purpose. He specializes in developing retirement planning and risk mitigation strategies for clients transitioning from their working years to their retirement years. He implements a personalized process and philosophy that is strategic, yet tactical, helping them consider appropriate changes as market conditions evolve, tax laws change, and life events occur. Having this process in place allows him to develop strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Fore’s competitive nature doesn’t rest solely in the investment world. He has been a competitor his whole life, having played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and receiving numerous team and individual awards. He earned a B.S. in Physical Education from East Carolina University and spent almost 11 years within the North Carolina’s public school system as a teacher, head football and baseball coach, and athletic director/administrator for grades K-12. He also worked at the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2002 to 2003 as an assistant baseball coach, where he focused on recruiting and player development.
Away from the office his activities include, but are not limited to, coaching multiple sports for the youth in his community, lifting weights, following college football, playing golf, and working with nonprofits throughout the area.
Fore and his wife, Mandy, along with their two boys, Quinn and Gehrig, reside and love living in Maiden, a small town in the Catawba Valley. Community involvement is at the front of Fore’s life. He loves his community of Maiden and the Hickory area. His passion for his community’s growth and development is paramount. Service and dedication are often words associated with Fore, evidenced by eight years of service on the city council in the town of Maiden as an elected public official and the dedication to recreation and high school sporting teams and players.
As part of the Rembert & Mode Financial Group, I am committed to helping my clients pursue their goals. Whether you are planning for retirement, seeking to accumulate or preserve your wealth, or saving for children’s or grandchildren’s education, I can develop tailored strategies that address your vast and ever-changing needs.
Before entering the financial services industry, I coached college baseball for six years. As head of recruiting and player development, I gained strategic and tactical insights that helped me build a successful team and successful people. As a financial advisor, I leverage this experience when assisting my clients in their daily financial decisions.
Growing up, my focus was on education, sports, and pursuing goals. I graduated from Maiden High School in 2001, where I won numerous academic and athletic awards and accolades. I was part of the 1999 Maiden High School Baseball State Championship team, earning All-State honors. I was also a member of the 2000 Shrine Bowl, representing North Carolina as the starting quarterback. I attended Elon University on a baseball scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. In 2008, I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2019, I became owner of Athletes Lab, a premier training facility designed to train athletes on speed, agility, strength, and conditioning as well as maximizing their potential by focusing on the process and hard work needed to become an elite athlete.
As a coach, I pride myself on demonstrating a strong work ethic, passion, player development, and assisting my players in reaching their full potential and athletic goals. Hard work, achievement, and success are what drive me. My mission is to use this to help each of my clients plan for a financial future in a way that aligns with his or her goals, and my commitment doesn’t end there. Active in my community, I am a member of the Hickory Elks Lodge and the Rotary Club of Lake Hickory. I have previously served on the board of directors for the Catawba Science Center.
Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing baseball, running, working out, and mentoring and training young athletes. My wife, Ashley, and I live in Maiden with our two sons, Davis and Lee.
The Rembert & Mode Financial Group specializes in developing strategies designed to help our clients build, manage, protect, and create a sustaining legacy, utilizing the four cornerstones of comprehensive wealth management: investments, insurance and liability planning, risk mitigation, and legacy planning. From planning for your children’s college education to pursuing your charitable ambitions, to living the retirement you’ve always wanted, our team’s sole focus is our clients’ goals.
After earning a B.A. in Political Science from UNC Asheville in 1995, I was an independent sales representative in the furniture industry for eight years before joining Carter, Terry & Company in 2005, where I began my financial services career. In 2006, I joined Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors) and formed the Rembert & Mode Financial Group with Thomas “Fore” Rembert in 2017. We joined Stifel in 2018.
Working in a collaborative team structure, my role is to help our clients select investments that reflect their lifestyle and legacy goals while periodically reviewing with them and making plan adjustments as needed. I also provide tailored guidance based on our clients’ retirement, wealth management, estate planning, tax-efficient investment, education funding, insurance planning, and risk management needs. Our benchmark is our clients living their passions.
My wife, Tara, is a Registered Nurse who serves as a Population Health Coordinator for Burke Primary Care. She is an avid traveler who is continually looking for the next adventure, whether it is hiking at Yellowstone or snorkeling in Belize. Forcing me to take time to see more of the world is her struggle and my blessing, but the simple pleasures of motherhood and gardening are her true self. Raising a strong, independent daughter is her passion.
Gracie, my daughter, is also a seasoned traveler with an independent spirit and is constantly keeping her parents on their toes, but her enthusiasm and dedication fills me with a great sense of pride.
I have had a lifelong love of cold trout rivers and a light fly rod, which was nurtured by my father and cemented during my time at UNC Asheville while working at a fly-fishing shop called Hunters Bank. My heart beats with the sounds of a river before nightfall. I love floating on a river on a cold winter’s morning before the fog has cleared in anticipation of the sudden flushing wood duck. An avid reader, my favorite times, if it must be inside, are with piles of books.
Since joining Stifel in 2018, I have had the opportunity to return to a rewarding role serving and supporting clients and financial advisors in the Hickory, North Carolina, branch. While my career has taken a few turns along the way, I returned to a position as part of a team that feels like family, and with a firm who truly values its clients and allows me to enjoy the opportunities and challenges in the financial services industry.
Born and raised in Hickory, I earned a B.A. from Lenoir-Rhyne. I worked in Public Relations for a utility company for several years after graduation. Shortly thereafter, I joined a local wealth management and investment services firm, where I began to acquire my securities licenses, ultimately attaining Series 7, 9 & 10, 63, and 66 securities licenses.
Since 1994, I have had the opportunity to learn from wonderful managers and teammates while working with several different firms in various sales support and management roles. With a background in administrative and compliance/audit support, assisting clients and financial advisors has been the most rewarding. An integral part of the team, my primary role is opening and serving client accounts, including financial transactions, rollovers, transfers, trading activity, and customized strategy implementation. I truly enjoy supporting the branch’s financial advisors as they assist our clients in establishing and pursuing their financial goals while providing an outstanding service experience.
Outside the office, my husband, Tommy, and I spend time with our three grown children and our numerous family pets.
With a background in human resources and marketing, I began my financial services career at A.G. Edwards in 2005. Upon previously transitioning from a Client Service Associate to a Financial Advisor, Fore and I formed a practice that focused on providing wealth management and retirement income strategies.
In 2010, with the addition of our second son, Gehrig, we decided that I could best serve our families’ needs by staying home full time. Once both boys were in school, I came back as Fore’s assistant. In 2018, our team joined Stifel, which for us was like coming home to a firm with the same values and beliefs with which we began.
Instrumental to the Rembert & Mode Financial Group, I am dedicated to serving our clients and their families with an earnest desire to deliver a high level of client administrative care while overseeing the team’s operational procedures.
Outside the office, I can be found at the ballfield cheering on our boys, Quinn and Gehrig. In the rare times away from the office or sports arena, I enjoy relaxing in the mountains with a good book, researching family genealogy, or gardening like the generations of women before me.
As first point of contact, Becky is the friendly voice that greets our clients when they call our office. She is responsible for maintaining the client database, overseeing office procedures and schedules, assisting with new account openings/education savings plans, and handling our marketing efforts.
Prior to joining Stifel, Becky worked in a local family practice office for nine years and then spent more than 20 years as an at-home medical transcriptionist, which allowed her the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom and raise her children.
A Catawba County native, Becky graduated from Fred T. Foard High School and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Administration from Catawba Valley Community College. She is a mother of two children, Connor and Everly, and is the proud Gabba to her granddaughter, Emma. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, listening to music, watching classic movies, and spending time with family. She attends St. Paul Lutheran-Startown.
Becky believes in understanding what is most important to clients. Her service philosophy is to be highly attentive to her team and to build lasting relationships with clients. She is dedicated to delivering top-tier, white glove service and making clients feel like they are part of our family.
